Dr. David Samadi was born and raised up in Iran in the Persian Community. When the Iran revolution started taking place, his family was forced to relocate in the year 1979 to various countries such as United States, Belgium and later to London where Dr. David Samadi enrolled for his high school in Roslyn, New York. He then joined Stony Brook University to study Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and acquired his masters in the year 1994. Dr. David Samadi completed his postgraduate degree in Urology in 1996 and protocology in the year 2000 at Albert College of Medicine. In the year 2001, he finished his oncology fellowship in protocology at Memorial Sloan and in the year 2002; he managed to finish a robotic radical prostatectomy under Professor Claude Abbou advisory.
Dr. David Samadi started his career journey at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital and later joined Mt. Sinai School of Medicine in the year 2007 where he served as the vice chair of Urology. With his experience and commitment to his work made him be one of the well-paid employees in New York City in the year 2012. In the year 2013, he was appointed the chairman of Urology when he and his team moved to Lenox Hill Hospital. He was also appointed as the professor of Urology and Chief of Robotic Surgery in the School of Medicine. He has been a motivator and a team builder between him and his staffs through successful surgeries they have conducted and taken few months to get back to normal. The treatment subjected to the patients depends on their needs and tests that are frequently done.
Dr. David Samadi tries to elaborate the difference between being sexually active and being sexually active and healthy. He argues that some men who don’t take care of themselves might find sex in their twenties different than sex 20 years later. Some of the problems that may arise are such as depression, erectile dysfunction, and enlarged prostate. He discusses widely specific steps men should practice to take care of their sexual health and prevent unseen problems. Some of the outlined steps include Regular exercise, eating healthy foods, practice Kegel exercise, annual checkup, stop smoking, learn stress management, avoid illegal drugs and cut back on alcohol.
